Scope of application and binding definitions for the use of the process platform. These notes supplement the general terms and conditions and define how parameters, recipe data, and quality indicators are interpreted.

Clarification of process specifications

Recipe definitionA recipe comprises all raw material proportions, tolerance limits, and processing parameters required for a defined production step. Deviations outside the stored tolerance lead to automatic blocking of the batch release process.

Mixing ratioThe mixing ratio is specified as a weight percentage of the total batch. The calculation is based on the actual weighed quantities, not on the target specifications. This ensures that readjustments during the process remain traceable.

Quality indicatorQuality indicators such as viscosity, particle size, or pH value are calculated as the average of at least three measurement points per batch. Individual measurements outside the tolerance range are documented but only lead to a complaint when the defined deviation limit is exceeded.

Production parametersTemperature, pressure, stirring speed, and flow rate are recorded continuously and stored with a resolution of one second. Data is archived for at least 24 months and can be retrieved from the platform in an audit-proof manner.

Batch releaseReleasing a batch requires that all mandatory fields of the recipe are fully documented and that the measured values are within the stored tolerance limits. Manual release by authorized personnel remains possible in justified exceptional cases and is logged.

System availabilityThe platform is operated with an availability of 99.5% on an annual average. Planned maintenance windows are announced via the system at least 48 hours in advance. Emergency access for production-critical functions is available via the local user interface.

Feedback from Production

What plant operators, process engineers, and quality managers report after switching to our process control system.

Since we digitized recipe management, transfer errors in batch documentation have practically disappeared. The batch records now match the target specifications without any gaps.

Patricia Mitterer, Head of Quality Assurance

The automatic calculation of mixing ratios has noticeably reduced our setup times. What used to require manual recalculation now runs directly in the system – without intermediate notes.

Fabian Friedrich, Process Engineer

The real-time dashboards immediately show deviations in temperature and flow rate. Today, we react much earlier to critical process states than we did with the old spreadsheet solution.

Plant Manager, Chemical Production Site

Recipe versioning saved us from a faulty batch. The system alerted us to an outdated parameter combination before it reached production.

Process Engineer, Pharmaceutical Supplier

The switch from paper to digital specifications was easier than expected. The user interface is clearly structured, and training our shift personnel took only a few days.

Shift Supervisor, Food Technology

Functions for reproducible production processes

The platform combines recipe management, parameter monitoring, and quality specifications in a single user interface. Every function is designed for use in technical production lines.

Recipe management Versioned mixing ratios with an approval workflow. Changes are logged, and previous versions remain accessible.
Automatic calculation Quantities and batch sizes are calculated from the stored ratios. Manual conversion errors are eliminated.
Parameter monitoring Temperature, pressure, and flow rate are received as live values. Deviations from the setpoints are flagged immediately.
Quality specifications Store tolerance limits and inspection intervals for each recipe. A batch is only released after the criteria are met.
Audit trail Every change to recipes and parameters is saved with a timestamp and the user who made it. This facilitates internal and external audits.
